Data sources & methodology: Primary source is IFCT 2017 (NIN/ICMR, Hyderabad) for all Indian foods. IFCT 2017 provides raw values; cooked values derived using standard Indian cooking retention factors (dals ร0.37, rice ร0.39, wheat ร0.40). Buffalo milk, dahi, paneer from IFCT Gopalan tables (NIN). Non-Indian foods (salmon, Greek yogurt, seeds) use USDA FoodData Central where IFCT values are unavailable. Leucine values for Indian foods derived from IFCT 2017 amino acid tables where available; USDA used as secondary source. Katori = standard 150ml serving (~100โ120g cooked dal/sabzi). Cup = 240ml. All values are per 100g edible portion as eaten. Protein powder values are estimates โ verify against product label.
